The Cherry Orchard

An aristocratic woman returns to her ancestral home to confront the ghosts of her childhood and the memory of her late seven-year-old son.

Her fear turns to nightmare upon discovering her house and the beautiful, adjoining orchard must be sold to pay her spiralling debts. Worse still, the sale is being driven by a young, local entrepreneur who she once ‘owned’ as a serf.
